Smith Rock Senior Session Redmond Oregon

There’s nothing I love more than capturing the beauty, personality, and excitement of senior year, and this session was pure magic! This session was extra special because she had traveled from out of town just for it! But, as luck would have it, we were completely socked in with wildfire smoke. At first, we weren’t sure if we should move forward, but we decided to go for it—and I’m SO glad we did! The smoke actually added this soft, hazy effect to the photos that made them look even better than we imagined. It gave the whole session a warm, dreamy glow that made the scenery feel straight out of a storybook.

Smith Rock holds a special place in this seniors heart. It is one of her favorite places she visited growing up. When she requested it, we knew it would be stunning—but wow, did it exceed expectations for this session! Set against the golden fields, rugged cliffs, and winding trails of this iconic location, everything about this portrait session felt effortless, natural, and totally her.

One of my favorite aspects of this session was how effortlessly she carried herself. Whether she was sitting in the tall grass, strolling down the path, or giving a soft smile over her shoulder, every shot felt so real. Her natural expressions and genuine laughter made capturing her personality so easy—these photos will no doubt be treasured for years to come.
